2.1247, i.e. CuBe2, is a low-alloy copper material with very high strength and at the same time good electrical conductivity.
The alloy is used where spring action, wear resistance and mechanical load-bearing capacity need to be combined in a copper material.
Typical applications include contacts, precision springs, tools and other technically demanding components.
